Thanks to your continuous support, our company celebrated its 70th anniversary on September 1, 2026.

Today, we are honored to have earned the deep trust of many customers, particularly in the fields of media and food import/export.
We owe this 70th-anniversary milestone entirely to the warm and unwavering support of our long-standing customers, partner companies, and related organizations, as well as our employees—who have proudly supported our operations on the front lines—and their families. We sincerely ask for your continued guidance and support.

70th Anniversary Logo Concept
The 70th anniversary commemorative logo embodies our long-standing history of trust and our leap into the future. The upward slant of the number "70" symbolizes a sense of speed as we move into the next era and our strong determination for further growth. By designing the "0" as a globe, we represent the vast scale of connecting the world and our core strength: our global network.
The design is grounded in a sincere blue, accented with vivid red to highlight our passion and vitality for this significant milestone.

70 Years of IEC

The Origins of Our Speed and On-Site Judgment

Our company was founded in 1956, starting with customs clearance and the handling of media-related cargo at Haneda Airport. Through the race against time—swiftly clearing and delivering time-sensitive newsfilm to broadcasting stations—we cultivated our DNA of assessing situations on-site and responding flexibly. Later, amidst the fervor of Japan's rapid economic growth, we were among the first to obtain a customs brokerage license from Tokyo Customs. We expanded our network to major ports and airports nationwide and launched our maritime and trucking transport businesses. Taking our first robust step toward becoming a comprehensive logistics company covering land, sea, and air, we built the solid foundation of the "emergency response capabilities" that continues to be inherited today.

Becoming a Leader in Fresh Cargo Imports: Accumulating Integrated Logistics Expertise

Entering the 1970s, we began developing our overseas network, starting with the opening of our Chicago office. We dramatically expanded our global reach by developing our original sea-and-air combined transport route "ISAS" and establishing local subsidiaries in various countries. Concurrently, we expanded our handling of fresh cargo imports, establishing a firm presence as a "leader in fresh imports." We significantly bolstered our infrastructure both domestically and internationally, including the launch of large-scale logistics centers in Tokyo Port and Narita. Leveraging this unique network, we accumulated the expertise to seamlessly manage everything from speed-critical customs clearance to temperature control and domestic delivery, building a system to meticulously meet our customers' needs.

Global Air and Sea Transport, and the "Human Capital" that Pioneers the Future

Today, we have grown into a comprehensive logistics company that consistently handles international air and sea transport. In recent years, leveraging the fresh import expertise we have cultivated over many years, we have significantly strengthened our food export operations. Operating on two fronts—the swift air export of perishables such as fruits and seafood, and sea export via refrigerated LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping—we respond to diverse needs from both air and sea, delivering Japanese food to the world. Furthermore, in our milestone 70th anniversary year, we handled the transportation of broadcasting equipment for global sporting events in Italy and the United States, proving that our founding DNA remains vibrantly alive today. In this modern era of advancing digitalization, what ultimately makes the difference is "human resources capable of solving problems on the front lines." Passing down the flexible response capabilities we have honed over 70 years to the next generation, we will continue to create new logistics value for the future.
